William "Brad" Smith

Brad Smith, a native of Greensboro, started his career in the financial services industry the day after he graduated from the UNCG Bryan School of Business in 1996. He began the journey with Jefferson Pilot before leaving to work with Principal Financial Group in 1997. While at Principal he focused on financial and investment planning. In addition, he spent 3 years as a manager responsible for a sales unit with as many as 10 representatives. He continued to focus his efforts on investment planning and was able help many clients fully understand and embrace financial planning and the importance of having a plan. More importantly, he was able to cultivate relationships he proudly continues to serve today.
In addition to being one of the Managing Partners of Midtown Financial Advisors, he also enjoys his work as Chairman of The Fellowship Church, co-founder of Men of Vision and Excellence(M.O.V.E.) and New Horizons for Children, the largest faith based orphan hosting organization in the USA.
Brad is married to Shannon and together have 7 children - Maci, Morgan, Maddie, Bradley, Mia, Raksana and Kasper.
